Peruvian designer Pamela Gonzales will open her first concept store in SoHo next week.
The shop, at SoHo Mews on 311 West Broadway, is slated to open on Oct. 11. It will showcase her fall collection as well as a number of other emerging designers in an art gallery format. The space is being designed by Romina Gonzales using glass as a primary material. The opening will include an art installation of glass-blown sculptures and mannequins.
Among the other brands that will be carried in the store are Carlos Luna, Alice Yim, Mel etel, Nuvula, Jessica Barkley, Sandra Baquero, Loris Dorin and others.
The 20-year-old Gonzales showed her first collection during Peru’s fashion week, opened a boutique in Lima and established an atelier there before coming to the U.S. She showed in New York last month during Nolcha Fashion Week: New York.
