MILAN — Forging ahead with its restructuring plan and looking to reinforce the geographic area, Valentino has tapped Rolf Kambli to become president of Valentino Japan, WWD has learned.
Kambli, formerly chief executive officer of Bally for Asia-Pacific and Australia, will be responsible for the growth of all product categories in Japan, as well as for the retail and wholesale channels. The local sales, marketing, financial and communication departments will also report to the executive, who has lived in Asia for more than two decades.
Valentino Japan controls a total network of 25 directly operated stores and various shops in shop in the region. Valentino declined to comment.
