Colleen Caslin has been named chief operating officer of Verdura. Caslin will report to Ward Landrigan and Nico Landrigan chairman and vice president, respectively, in the newly created position.
The brand’s president, Michael Heitner left the company last month and the position has not been filled.
Caslin, who starts Dec. 15, was most recently vice president of public relations at Movado Group, Inc., overseeing brands like Ebel, Concord, the flagship brand Movado.
The 69-year old jewelry firm, based in New York was founded by Fulco di Verdura and was originally financed by Cole Porter and Vincent Astor.
Verdura’s signature Maltese cross cuffs and pineapple watch are worn and coveted by socialites and celebrities. The collection is wholesaled to Bergdorf Goodman, Betteridge Jewelers in Greenwich and through it’s own private salon.
