PARIS — Drawing on its management reserves, Louis Vuitton has named Valérie Chapoulaud-Floquet the new president and chief executive officer of Louis Vuitton North America, effective June 1, WWD has learned.
Chapoulaud-Floquet is currently Vuitton’s president for Southern Europe, a recently created zone at the French maker of leather goods, fashion, watches and jewelry. She has also been ceo of Louis Vuitton Taiwan. Before that, she was president of the luxury products division at L’Oréal USA and a 24-year veteran of the French beauty giant.
