LONDON — From the silk-lined leather case that once belonged to Princess Margaret to Michael Landy’s kinetic, junkyard sculpture and Katie Grand’s fashion installation upstairs, the new Louis Vuitton Maison embraces this city with full-on joie.
Tonight, Louis Vuitton will open the doors of its New Bond Street store here to VIP guests for a gala evening featuring a performance by the London-based artist Pablo Bronstein and readings by young British poets corralled by Chris Ofili. Among tonight’s expected guests are Thandie Newton, Elle Macpherson, Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe.
