NEW YORK — Let’s face it, khaki is more than just a color, it’s an entire look. Gap will show its spring collection tonight, and if the firm has its way, every stylish girl will want a piece cut from that ubiquitous cotton twill. “We wanted to start the season with something fundamentally Gap,” explained Pina Ferlisi, executive vice president of design. “Khaki is androgynous and a relevant trend, we wanted to make it fresher and younger.” Here, for example, a shirt, twill skirt and sequined shell, all in cotton, with a leather belt.
