The company said Tuesday that Robert Donofrio would become chief executive officer of the A&G Group in the U.S., overseeing the development of the two luxury brands in North America.
As reported, Asprey & Garrard, which operated as one brand since 1998, split in April, turning the firm’s Fifth Avenue flagship into an Asprey unit.
Philip Warner, who is currently president of Asprey in the U.S., was named president of Garrard here and will oversee the introduction of Garrard as a separate brand in the U.S. He will report to Donofrio.
Meanwhile, Donofrio will act as president of Asprey in the U.S. He had previously run his own consultancy firm, working with luxury clients including Movado, Trussardi and Kieselstein-Cord. Before that, he was executive vice president and general manager of Bulgari North America. He will now report to Gianluca Brozzetti, chief executive of the parent A&G Group, based in London.
