NEW YORK — Color Redefined was the theme for spring, as the design team behind the Gap label turned out a lineup of eye-popping khaki pants, sweet Liberty-print blouses, preppy plaid shirts and of-the-moment shrunken ombré cardigans — hitting the runway trends, but with a signature Gap twist. There were also nautical-inspired numbers, from classic striped tops to a cropped jacket with a drawstring neckline made of sailor’s rope, along with the denim offerings that are the brand staples.
