NEW YORK — Clinique’s newest scent, Simply, has anything but an easy goal: to reinvent the Oriental fragrance category. The new scent, which includes notes of creamy soy milk and smoky toasted soy nuts, will be launched in September in Clinique’s full U.S. lineup of 2,300 doors and is expected to do upward of $30 million at retail in its first year in the U.S. For more, see page 5.
