Achtland’s Oliver Lühr and Thomas Bentz have a penchant for preppy. Cue their takes on prim-and-proper bibbed shirts, man-tailored trousers, rugby and varsity stripes and collegiate sweaters. To this, they added sheer silk, floral embroideries and other feminine wiles, yielding blithely mismatched combos that have won them a following.
A botanic touch came via leather poppies pieced and quilted in shades of oxblood, taupe and blue on blush-toned leather skirts, vests and an A-line dress. Glistening jet bead twirled in a running stitch across the bodices of silk georgette dresses.
