Alessandro Dell’Acqua Said Headed to Malo

Designer would replace Ferré-bound 6267 duo of Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi.

MILAN – Alessandro Dell’Acqua may be headed to Malo now that the creative post there is vacant.

Malo’s former designers Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi were tapped Tuesday by Gianfranco Ferré. A spokeswoman at IT Holding, which controls both Malo and Ferré, and a Dell’Acqua spokesman declined comment on the report.

In addition to his namesake line, Dell’Acqua, who is known for his sexy and feminine designs, is also creative director at La Perla and Borbonese.
