PARIS — Go ahead, pile it on. That was one of the messages of the stellar pre-fall collection Karl Lagerfeld showed for Chanel, which featured everything from embroidered sweaters to little ruffled chiffon dresses, all decked out in luxurious versions of Coco Chanel’s signature accessories. The cigarettes the models waved, however, were of dark chocolate. Here, a graphic knit look, worn with a bowed hat, chain necklaces, cuffs and a top-handle bag. For more on the house, see page 6.
