With inspirations as far-flung as Japanese novelist Jun’ichiro Tanizaki, composers Philip Glass and Foday Musa Suso, and an African mask festival, Amabelle Aguiluz created a tribal-meets-contemporary collection of handmade knit tops and body-skimming dresses that was both unique and wearable.
