NEW YORK - Services for Amedeo Panetta, 75, a former executive of the Panetta Jewelry Co., a manufacturer of fashion jewelry, were held here Tuesday. He died Saturday of leukemia in Mount Sinai Hospital, according to the family.

Panetta, vice president and treasurer, and his brother, Armand, who served as president, started the business in 1946. They operated the firm until 1988 when they retired and sold the company.

The brothers continued in a limited consulting capacity under the new ownership.

In addition to his brother, Panetta is survived by his wife, Vincenza; a daughter, Laura Panetta Dropkin; two sisters, Carmela Belotti and Palma Tangredi, and two grandchildren.
