NEW YORK — Kim Anderson-Curry, who has been vice president and divisional merchandise manager of intimate apparel at Saks Fifth Avenue since August 1992, has been named divisional merchandise manager of accessories at Sears, Roebuck & Co., Chicago.
The post at Sears is a new one.
Anderson-Curry will relocate to Chicago in early August and will report to Leslie Mann, divisional vice president of jewelry and accessories.
Before joining Saks in her most recent post, Anderson-Curry had been a divisional merchandise manager of jewelry and watches at Federated Merchandising Services for one year, and earlier was divisional merchandise manager of intimate apparel, accessories and other areas at Spiegel, Chicago, from 1986 to 1991. Prior to that, she had been divisional merchandise manager of accessories, jewelry and designer leather goods at Marshall Field’s from 1981 to 1986.
“I do believe this is a great opportunity in regards to how Sears is growing,” said Anderson-Curry.
A Saks spokeswoman said she had no word yet on a successor to Anderson-Curry.
