NEW YORK -- Tiffany & Co. said Friday that executive vice president Thomas A. Andruskevich has resigned to "head up the North American operations of an international fashion house."
Tiffany's did not elaborate and Andruskevich could not be reached for comment on his new job. His last day at Tiffany's was Thursday.
Andruskevich's responsibilities included retail operations in Europe, Canada and the Middle East, and the international fragrance and wholesale trade divisions. Instead of naming a successor, Tiffany's said it will reassign Andruskevich's duties to other executives.
A 12-year veteran of Tiffany's, Andruskevich was once the company's chief financial officer.
