NEW YORK -- Anne Klein & Co. has announced a licensing agreement with Collection XIIX, a scarf manufacturer.
Collection XIIX will launch the debut fall collection at the March accessories market, and offered at its showroom here.
According to Elaine Gold, president of Collection XIIX, wholesale prices will be $22 to $50. Gold said it was too early for a wholesale volume projection.
The line will include silk and wool items, and will be made in Italy and the Far East.
Vera Industries here had been the licensee for the scarves since 1978. According to Burt Wayne, president of Anne Klein Studio, the firm switched licensees "because our whole vision as a company has changed, we want the scarves to reflect that, and we feel that Collection XIIX is the company most capable of producing what we're looking for."
