NEW YORK — Makeup consultant Pat McGrath reportedly broke a store sales record during a public appearance for the Giorgio Armani color line at Saks Fifth Avenue’s Manhattan flagship last week, ringing up $60,000, according to industry sources, a 10.2 percent increase over the same two-day event last year. Neither L’Oréal USA, which holds the Armani beauty license, nor Saks executives would comment on sales figures.
