NEW YORK--Larry I. Kelley was named president and chief executive officer of One Price Clothing Stores, succeeding Henry D. Jacobs Jr., who resigned Tuesday, the company said. "It has long been my desire to have more time to devote to my family and personal interests," said Jacobs, who will continue as chairman. "This succession will give me the opportunity to do this." Kelley, who was president and chief executive officer of Casual Male Big & Tall, a division of J. Baker, was also named to the company's board of directors. Prior to joining Casual Male, Kelley held a variety of positions in women's apparel retailing. One Price, based in Duncan, S.C., sells women's and children apparel and accessories with a core price of $7. The company said some of its strategies for 1997 include expanding its retail pricing, accelerating store openings, expanding plus sizes and experimenting with large-format stores.
