NEW YORK--Visual New York--Store Concepts '96, a new trade show for the visual merchandising and fixturing industries, will be held at the New York Armory on Lexington Avenue and 25th Street, Dec. 3-5. The show will correspond with the industry's market week for permanent showrooms here, to be held Dec. 2-6. The event is being staged by the trade show division of Fairchild Publications, publisher of Women's Wear Daily, Daily News Record, Home Furnishings Network, Decorative Home and other leading trade publications. For the show, Fairchild will work closely with Visual New York, an alliance of visual merchandising, display and design companies here that works to attract retailers from all over the world to their permanent showrooms. The show also is endorsed by other permanent showrooms here. In conjunction with the market week, there will be a major industry party, industry seminars and other events. Fairchild Publications is a Capital Cities/ABC company, which is part of the Walt Disney Co.
