NEW YORK--Official word is expected today that Calvin Klein Inc. has hired Brenda Moser as president of the Calvin Klein Collection business.
Though executives of Calvin Klein and Bloomingdale's, where Moser is a vice president and divisional merchandise manager, declined to discuss the Moser move, Bloomingdale's announced her resignation internally on Wednesday, according to sources.
Moser, as reported, will succeed Susan Sokol, who resigned the Calvin Klein Collection post in March. Prior to Bloomingdale's, Moser worked at Neiman Marcus and Sanger Harris.
Moser is Calvin Klein Inc. president Gabriella Forte's second major hiring this year. In January, she named Denise Seegal, former president of DKNY, as president of the CK Calvin Klein business.
