LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles City Council on Tuesday unanimously approved a $25,000 reward in the case of Carole Little Inc. controller Rolando Ramirez, shot to death in his car May 4.
Carole Little Inc. has already offered $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Ramirez’s death.
Police, puzzled by the lack of response to the $100,000 reward offer, are continuing to investigate the Carole Little company’s relationships with its contractors as well into the backgrounds of its employees.
In the outbreak of violence directed at the firm, executive Kenneth Martin was shot in Culver City in December. In November 1993, Joseph Antonyan, a Carole Little contractor, was shot to death outside his firm in Glendale. Karin Wong Holzinger, former vice president of U.S. manufacturing, was shot at on the freeway and her house was bombed twice.
