Due to a shortage of used plastic soda bottles, production of Wellman Inc.'s recycled polyester staple products for fiberfill, carpet and nonwoven applications, manufactured at Johnsonville, S.C., will be curtailed by about 10 percent beginning in June. A story on page 14, May 4, misidentified the fiber that will be reduced.

Two photo captions accompanying a story appearing on page 16, May 10, on the Immediate Collections show were transposed, and one contained a misspelling of a company name and an incorrect fabric description. One photograph showed a dress from Ja Ja in ribbed ottoman and a coat by Tricot Chic, and the other an outfit from More Dash Than Cash.

Sassafras, the Gaithersburg, Md.-based women's specialty chain, operates 27 stores. Due to an editing error, the number was misstated in an article on page 8, May 10.

Same-store sales for Claire's Stores Inc. rose 16 percent in April. A story on page 2, May 5, incorrectly reported a same-store sales decline for the month.
