CORAL GABLES, Fla.--Sunglass Hut International here said it has completed the acquisition of Sunsations Sunglass Co. for 3.7 million shares of Sunglass Hut stock valued at about $129 million plus payment of $14 million of Sunsations' outstanding debt. Sunglass Hut noted it expects to incur $10 million in merger-related costs. Plans for the purchase were disclosed in May. Sunsations, based in Indianapolis, operates 350 stores in 44 states. In addition to the Sunsations buy, Sunglass Hut said it is opening 350 stores in 1995 in domestic and international markets. Sunglass Hut operates 1,400 stores in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe. It has 80 joint venture stores in Australia.
