SPRING FEVER

With frigid temperatures outside and post-holiday blues settling in, it's the perfect time to warm up under some hot lights and fantasize about spring.
Some 75 people did just that Thursday night at the Yves Saint Laurent boutique on Madison Avenue. Cornelia Bregman, Milly de Cabrol, Beth DeWoody, Laura Tisch and Liz Steinberg were among those who stopped by to see all those short-shorts and floaty dresses in a runway show of the designer's spring '95 Rive Gauche collection. But they didn't leave the holiday spirit behind: The show kicked off a month-long benefit for the Henry Street Settlement House, with the boutique donating 5 percent of its January sales to the organization.
Annette Tappert, still receiving accolades for her book, "The Power of Style," came with the mind-set of a serious shopper: "Let's go see what's on sale."
