Elizabeth Hurley shot her first Estee Lauder ad last week in New York with photographer Albert Watson. Kevin Mancuso coiffed her hair, and Lauder brought back famed makeup artist Sandy Linter to do Hurley's face for the new campaign.

Linda Evangelista paraded down the Paris runways as a platinum blonde--but by the time she gets to the New York collections, she'll be a brunette again--thanks to Clairol. Word is, a new Clairol contract will have the foremost hair-color chameleon among the supermodels doing a switcheroo again, this time for big bucks.

Danielle Mitterand must feel safer in America than in her native France. While attending fashion shows in Paris, she was surrounded by a phalanx of burly bodyguards. But stepping off the Concorde Wednesday morning, there were only two rather small men accompanying her. If these guys were security, they were in good disguise.

Paris antiques dealer Maurice Segoura has moved from the Rue du Faubourg St. HonorA to the Hotel Clermont-Tonnerre. To celebrate the move, Segoura hosted a cocktail party in the new space. Guests included Isabelle and Hubert d'Ornano, Charles de Croisset, Jean-Charles and Jackie de Ravenel, Sao Schlumberger, Jacqueline de Ribes, Jean-Louis Dumas-Hermes, Hubert de Givenchy and Marc Bohan.

Sophie Marceau, the sexy French actress, is pregnant. The father is her boyfriend, Andrzej Zulawski, the Polish director. The couple are said to be delighted. Good thing Marceau has finished shooting "Braveheart" with Mel Gibson, which will be released later this year. Marceau and Gibson will join forces again for the Academy Awards, where they will present one of the Oscars together. Emanuel Ungaro designed the actress's dress.
