It didn't take Dominique Browning long to land on her feet. She's been named editor in chief of House & Garden, the magazine that Conde Nast plans to revive next year. Since January, Browning had been editor in chief of Mirabella, which was sold last week to Hachette Filipacchi by Murdoch Magazines. The relaunch of House & Garden, which will be published monthly, is slated for September 1996.
