NEW YORK--Isaac Mizrahi is planning to launch his first diffusion line for spring 1996 retailing. Jennifer Peck, president of Isaac Mizrahi & Co., declined to give the name of the new line, but said the designer sportswear company has been working with The Arnell Group for about nine months on the marketing and advertising concept. The line will be launched as a new division of Isaac Mizrahi & Co. Peck said additional staff will be hired for the new business. "It will broaden our distribution," said Peck. While she said prices haven't been set, her target is to have jackets to retail for no more than $350. A jacket in Mizrahi's Collection line currently retails for about $850. The new line will be manufactured here and overseas. Peck said she would be completing plans for the new line in the late spring.
