PARIS--The house of Courreges announced Friday it is canceling its spring ready-to-wear show here, which had been scheduled for Oct. 19. According to a spokesman, the decision was made by designer Andre Courreges and his wife Coqueline, who directs the house's business affairs, primarily because of concerns about copying. The spokesman said the collection is ready, and will be shown by appointment only. Neither Andre nor Coqueline Courreges was available for comment.
