The annual Naked Angels benefit at the East Hampton airport has become one of the hottest parties of the summer--primarily because it's such a pickup scene. Scores of single guys descend on the place to check out all the scantily clad women, and plenty of women show up hoping to get noticed by some hot young star. But there were just a handful of celebrity men at the airport this year, and half of them brought their girlfriends. Steven Weber, in New York to film "Jeffrey," said shooting is "going well--but this is better." His girlfriend, MTV veejay Juliette Hohnen, stuck close by throughout the evening and talked about heading up to the Woodstock festival next weekend. Playwright Frank Pugliese said he hopes the film version of his play "Mob Girl" gets under way this fall. "We're working on the script," he said. "It's still too much like the play." The crew is also working on a leading lady, and Pugliese's former girlfriend, Marisa Tomei, is one of the contenders. But Saturday night, she was the chairwoman of the benefit. "Thanks for coming," she yelled to the crowd from the stage before she hopped down and started dancing. And while the throngs of partygoers danced and flirted well into the morning, Fisher Stevens stayed out of the action. He huddled with a model out behind the tent.
