AQUASCUTUM U.S., CANADA OPERATIONS SHIFTED TO LONDON
NEW YORK--Aquascutum PLC, the British apparel maker and retailer, has transferred administrative functions for its North American operations to London from Manhattan, although it will continue to maintain a sales office here. George Santacroce, president and chief executive officer of U.S. and Canadian business, has left the company and could not be reached Wednesday. In London, a company spokeswoman said that this is part of an ongoing worldwide consolidation of operations to the headquarters there. Overall management responsibilities for North America are now held by James A. Pow, group managing director of Aquascutum PLC.
