EYE SCOOP

Is Mark Eisen becoming the rock 'n' roll designer? After dressing Mick Jagger for the Rolling Stones' current tour, Eisen went on to dress Beverly Peele and Lana Ogilvy in the latest Heavy D and The Boys video, "I Got Nothing but Love for You." Next, he'll be working with John Taylor and Duran Duran.

Sofia Coppola's finally found her true calling: fashion designer. After years of art school and apprenticing summers at Chanel in Paris, Coppola is launching her first collection, called Milk. "It's about 15 pieces," she says, "mostly little dresses and T-shirts. There's also a white corduroy peacoat. I guess I based it on Edie Sedgwick, though that look isn't exactly a new idea. 'Milk' isn't a big fashion statement, it's just things I was looking for. I got a few tips from my designer friends, and now I want to learn more." Milk's first line, due in Fred Segal in Los Angeles, X-Large in New York and L.A., and Barneys New York in September, isn't seasonal, because "there are no seasons in L.A." And the young Coppola's also been busy in another direction: "High Octane," a four-part TV series she produced with pal Zoe Cassavetes, is going to air on Comedy Central in November.

If anyone's looking for Donna Karan and Stephan Weiss, they're in Idaho. The couple headed off to the Potato State for a whitewater rafting trip.
