CORRINE COOMBE RESIGNS POSITION AT GUCCI AMERICA

NEW YORK — Corrine Coombe, executive vice president and director of merchandising for Gucci America, has resigned. Coombe had been with the company since October 1990.
A Gucci spokeswoman said Coombe left to pursue other interests. Coombe could not be reached for comment.
Brian Blake, who had been vice president and director of Gucci’s U.S. stores, will assume Coombe’s responsibilities. He will continue with his retail responsibilities and will have a new title: executive vice president of merchandising, wholesale and retail for Gucci America.
Blake will to report to Domenico De Sole, president of Gucci America.
