NEW YORK--The WWD Stock Index slid 2.3 percent in the week ended Nov. 18 the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell percent. Forstmann Inc. tumbled 1.75 to 5 after saying it expected to post a steep fourth-quarter loss, and Kmart Corp. fell 1.5 to 14.63 on lower-than-expected earnings. Going against the grain, Proffitt's and Guilford Mills rose on strong quarterly results.
