ALLIEDSIGNAL UPS NYLON PRICE 6%

NEW YORK--AlliedSignal Inc. said it has increased the price of its 20 denier nylon fiber by 6 percent.
The increase became effective with orders placed Sept. 25.

The fiber is primarily used in the warp knit market for intimate apparel applications.
The company's last nylon price hike was in December 1993, a 3 to 7 percent increase.
