NEW YORK--Perry Ellis International said Wednesday it has finalized its agreement with Hong Kong-based Dickson Concepts International Ltd. to open six shops under the Perry Ellis name in Asia in 1995. The stores will open in Hong Kong, Taipei, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. The Shenzhen and Shanghai boutiques will be located in the World of Dickson department store and the Shanghai Jin Jiang Dickson Center, respectively. Sites for the other four have not been determined. In addition, about 33 more boutiques will be opened in Asia under the agreement during 1996 and 1997. Plans for the deal were reported last month by Max Garelick, president and chief executive officer of Perry Ellis, which handles the licensing of the designer name.
