NEW YORK--Andrea Jovine, a lower-priced bridge designer, generated $55,000 in sales at a trunk show last Friday at Neiman Marcus in Troy, Mich. "It was one of our best trunk shows," said Jovine. "People are buying multiples, not just items." Among the bestsellers from the holiday collection were dressy styles, such as gold organza anoraks, festive jumper dresses and soft sweaters. At Neiman's, Jovine's merchandise, including dresses priced from $140 to $250, and sportswear from $90 to more than $300, hangs near DKNY, Emanuel and Anne Klein II, among other bridge lines.
