MILAN IS BURNING

Neon bright disco looks were everywhere during Milan's fashion week. And after their show last week, that's exactly what Mariuccia Mandelli and Aldo Pinto went for when they celebrated Krizia's 40th anniversary. The couple threw a bash for 600 people at UB, a trendy Milanese club. After a tranquil dinner, the atmosphere heated up when guests hit the dance floor and rocked to live music by Zero Heroes, a band of blue-blooded rock 'n' rollers.
"It was a casual evening for our friends," said Pinto. "Mariuccia was having a great time. She danced until 4 a.m." Guests included Greta Scacchi, Jacqueline Bisset, Italian TV bombshell Valeria Marini and filmmaker Francesco Rosi. With many Italian designers now more amicable with one another than they used to be, Carla Fendi and the Missonis joined the party, Giorgio Armani and Laura Biagiotti stopped in to pay tribute, and Domenico Dolce made an appearance. Perhaps the tax scandal is bringing the troops together.
