PAUL HARRIS SEES PROFIT FOR QUARTER

INDIANAPOLIS--Paul Harris Stores Inc., said Thursday that it is encouraged by its fourth-quarter sales and "will deliver a profitable fourth quarter."
The company said its inventories are lean and focused and its new stores have performed on plan. Early spring merchandise and focused assortments have been well-received by customers, the company said. For the fourth quarter ended Jan. 29, the company reported net income of $5 million or 50 cents a share, on sales of $53.5 million.--Fairchild News Service
