French-German design duo Annelie Augustin and Odely Teboul continued to refine their crepuscular vision. Presenting their spring collection in an apartment, models in all-black ensembles stood or reclined languidly amidst decadent floral arrangements. A tulle Mohawk headpiece made peace with a warrior dress with a sleeveless leather bodice and split-level chiffon skirt. There were biker-chick pants in leather, encrusted with glittering jet beads, and a tough-but-tender military-meets-motorcycle jacket. The duo's monochrome palette is anything but one-note, with crochet, openwork lace, and chiffon used to good effect. This is couture, Berlin-style.
"I think that all anyone really wants in life is to have people understand us for who we actually are, despite everything," says Ruth Negga. The actress talks "Preachers" season 2 and more on WWD.com. #wwdeye (📷: Dan Doperalski)
"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
