Annelie Augustin and Odély Teboul plied what Teboul called the “opulence of early Christianity” into their all-black fashion universe. The duo’s unorthodox looks for spring were ornate and icon-influenced: monk meets mantilla.

Their intricate pairings of lace and leather were out in force, along with draped chiffon, fringed silk and jet beading.

Tulle-trimmed trench coats were covetable and wearable, as were easy silk dresses, jet-studded viscose tops and full trousers, signaling a move to more easy-to-market garments.
