LOS ANGELES — Barry Aved is getting a second tour of duty as president of Tarrant Apparel Group here.
Aved served as president of the firm for six months beginning in 1999, resigning from the post but remaining a director after it posted a fourth-quarter loss of $2.2 million, much of it due to write-offs of inventory, debt and computer upgrades.

"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
