PARIS — Uma Thurman is lightening her Lancôme workload.

The actress, who’s been a spokeswoman for the L’Oréal-owned brand since 2000, will progressively phase out her responsibilities for Lancôme’s color cosmetics, including Amplicils mascara, Photogenic Ultra Comfort foundation and Rouge Sensation lipstick. She will, however, remain the face of Miracle fragrance.

“Due to her busy schedule, Uma Thurman feels that she will be unable to devote enough time to Lancôme,” said a brand spokeswoman. “Since 2000, she has represented many of Lancôme’s products, and now she continues to be the face of Miracle. We have had an extremely creative partnership, and working with her is a wonderful and rewarding experience.”

Thurman is currently starring in Quentin Tarantino’s high-profile film, “Kill Bill.”
