NEW YORK — Bill Bigler has rejoined Macy’s West/Bullock’s as vice president and women’s fashion director for women’s and children’s apparel, accessories and shoes.

He succeeds David Nutterfield, who was named fashion director at I. Magnin in May. I. Magnin and Macy’s West/Bullock’s are divisions of R.H. Macy & Co.

Bigler reports to Terron Schaefer, senior vice president of marketing, public relations and the fashion office.

Since September, Bigler has been vice president and men’s fashion director for Macy’s East.
He had a stint at Brawn of California, a mail-order house, from 1990 to 1993, but before that was vice president and fashion director for women’s ready-to-wear at Macy’s West from 1988 to 1990.

Prior to that, he served as vice president and fashion merchandising director for men’s private label at Macy’s corporate merchandising office. He first joined Macy’s West in 1978 as men’s fashion coordinator, and also held men’s wear posts at Bamberger’s and Bloomingdale’s in the Eighties.
