NEW YORK — Bloomingdale’s has postponed the opening of its SoHo store until February. When the SoHo store was announced in October, the company said it would open this November.
Michael Gould, Bloomingdale’s chairman and chief executive, said since the building, located at 504 Broadway between Broome and Spring Streets, was built in 1823, “there are a lot more structural issues than we might have thought. We don’t want to take any shortcuts whatsoever. We are creating a store, with our team and resources, that does break the mold.”
"I think that all anyone really wants in life is to have people understand us for who we actually are, despite everything," says Ruth Negga. The actress talks "Preachers" season 2 and more on WWD.com. #wwdeye (📷: Dan Doperalski)
"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
