LONDON — Flower power rules at Burberry London for spring, with chartreuse and purple flower patterns blooming over everything from PVC-coated cotton trenches and flirty miniskirts to two-in-one swimsuits that convert from one piece to bikini.

Jackets were everywhere, too, from snappy, cotton canvas military styles to chartreuse motorcycle models fashioned from coated leather.

But bright florals weren’t the only patterns weaving their way across London. Designer Christopher Bailey also updated the black-and-white scratch check, spreading it over cropped trousers and trenches. Burberry will show the London collection Thursday in New York.
