NEW YORK -- Robert A. Rowan has been named director of the international licensing division of Bonjour Group Ltd., a new post.

He reports to Avi Dayan, chairman.

Rowan will be responsible for expanding the firm's international licenses in Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Far East. The company currently has six international licenses, he said.

Rowan would not give specific figures, but said, "We plan to double total Bonjour business through international licensing over the next five years." Reportedly, overall wholesale sales of Bonjour products through its network of licensees, are estimated at about $250 million.

Rowan was president of licensing at Jordache Enterprises, a post he had held since 1984. Before that, he was divisional merchandise manager of men's wear at Bloomingdale's.

Allen Wollins takes over Rowan's duties at Jordache as director of licensing. Wollins had formerly been president for seven years of his own licensing firm, Allen Wollins International.
