The venture, with Peace Mark Group, one of Hong Kong’s leading watch and jewelry firms, also will open at least 20 Boucheron shop-in-shops in the Tourneau network of stores over the same period. Peace Mark last year signed a venture with Tourneau, based in New York, to open 30 watch stores.
“We are absolutely delighted to partner with Peace Mark Group,” said Jean-Christophe Bedos, Boucheron chief executive officer. “They are the ideal partner to elevate the brand’s success to the next level in China.”
Boucheron operates two stores in China, in Hong Kong and in Shanghai. It runs 30 stores around the world, and plans to open seven to eight doors in the next year, Bedos said.
