Keeping true to the strong men’s wear season in Berlin, JenniferBrachmann showed a triumphant first collection. Live classical pianomusic accompanied her presentation of reinterpreted classical men’spieces. Her Maestro coat was a button-less black wool-blend jacketwith coattails and subtle stitching across the shoulders. The coattailsbecame shirttails on the back of a gray cotton shirt that dipped at theback.


The former architect is a competent tailor and realizes thatclever details — like oversize pockets on a navy blue funnel-neck wooljacket and folds on the front of a blue blazer — can make all thedifference.
