Brachmann RTW Fall 2016

Reconstructed, tailored men’s wear remained Jennifer Brachmann’s modus operandi for fall, though she brought novelty to the look by adding details to some pieces while streamlining others. She updated her signature vest/shirt hybrid in grayish green and revisited familiar trouser silhouettes and tailcoat details. On a newsier front, she introduced a merino wool collection of ultrasimple and slim square-necked sweaters that were, for the most part, seamless, “so that the shoulders appear to roll over smoothly,” said Brachmann. Dominated by a full spectrum of grays that faded into dusky blues or green, the palette was inspired by the photography of Franziska Stünkel.
